09:07 ET PurchasePro.com (PPRO) 0.41: Firm becomes the latest to attempt to support its stock price by asking
shareholders to register shares in their own names to prevent short-selling; last two companies to attempt this that we recall were Aremissoft, which has since been delisted, and MicroStrategy (MSTR), which jumped from 2.97 to 5.24 after its announcement back in April, but has since slid to 1.45.
