I understand your point. And to a degree I wish we had been better prepared too. But of all things to take place this was the LAST thing I would have expected. For Bush to appear freaked when first told - I would expect nothing less for anyone! For him to be hard to find - thats part of national security. They almost tooled up the White house so I think to move him around that day was good. In terms of being ready? I have no idea how you prepare for jumbo jets slamming into buildings or anthrax in the mail. I think the writer is good at making points and twisting facts to sound good but if I were debating him I'd put his nuts to the fire. Good thing he can hide behind that pen of his because he wouldn't last 2 minutes in a debate with the line of reasoning he's using.
