He paints what war is all about to some people. He paints what some people think they fought for- and perhaps what some people fought for, but what what everyone fought for. All I am saying is that his vision is a limited vision. You either can accept that or you can't. If you can't fine. But I am never going to agree with you, if you are trying to argue that Norman had a comprehensive and egalitarian world view. I can point to the evidence of his illustration to show he did not.
