I disagree with the idea that a country cannot remain neutral in this and that we should view anybody who doesn't do exactly what we want as an enemy. I would say that we certainly wouldn't want to extend any behavior to the neutral countries that we view them as friends either. If they want to be islands, let them be. I don't believe in forcing someone to be our ally, but I want to make sure that these countries who are so bitter about having friendship being a two-way street, don't get the benefits that having a friendship with the U.S. provides. And of course, I am going to stick with the idea that killing innocent people should never be our goal. Especially as an initial act.
