Quoting some truisms that Goebbels happens to mouth is not telling, it is goofy. I would bet there are whole sections of speeches given by Stalin or Hitler or Mao that are plausible. How do you think persuasion is accomplished?: by progressing from something generally admitted (the more gifted tend to be the leaders in society) to a conclusion that is novel or controversial (therefore, democracy is bad). In this case, the quoted matter never quite got to the controversial part, by the way.........
