About the Taliban's being upset about the killing of innocents, my opinion may surprise you, but as long as the US does not expressly target innocents, I see those deaths as sadly unfortunate fallout in a far into which we were dragged. And I wouldn't put it past the Taliban to "plant" civilians inside targets, either.
Yes, that surprises me. And I agree with it. Killing civilians just because we can is morally wrong (I was so angry about the WTC attack, it took me a while to get to that conclusion.) Behavior like that is the Taliban's best recruiting agent.

Posts like the one to which I'm responding. Honest dialog about the confusing and horrific time we're in. I'll do my best to meet you halfway. :)
