gosh, my mistake. it's been many years since i did my genealogy. ok i found my genealogy paper i did back in high school.

you're right abe's brother died when he was young. my great grandfather john lincoln was the brother of thomas lincoln, abraham lincoln's father. that makes abe's father thomas my great uncle or whatever, and i guess that makes me 1st cousins with the sixteenth president six times removed.
