QS ... you are correct in everything you just said ... however, oftentimes, the most violent portion of the reaction (the bearish or negative reaction, in this case, that is related to the commercials) hits equities the hardest close to the time that the commercials get close to neutral overall ... that does not mean that the commercials will be correct, but it does mean that we are probably getting close to the end of the bear move overall ... my interpretation, right or wrong, is that we will have one more dramatic move down - probably by November 2 ... and that might be the time to start rebuilding positions in common stocks ...
