Did you read about that Emory "history" professor who wrote an anti-gun book and received an award from Columbia U?

Apparently, he made it up and will probably be fired. Emory is embarrassed to the max and and has demanded that he try to defend the stuff he made up, which is the core of the book:

Because you are offended by somebody's right to protect themselves you advocate unconstitutional actions from our government.

"What the right-wingers like you who yell "treason" at every turn in the road"

I don't yell "treason" very often. Traitor has come out a time or two and was in response to people blaming America and GWB for the attrocities of September 11, 2001. You stick up for these people and that is fine with me (you have to live with yourself). I think you will find that hating America will become less and less popular, leaving you with fewer and fewer people to blame and complain with.

Loser.

<<Unfortunately (from your point of view), some of these 2nd Amendment gun nuts have so many "bang" toys that they could qualify as arms merchants. So I'm not so sure they're "well within the law." Today? Maybe. Tomorrow? Doubtful.>>

You're way late on that one. All gun sales are registered now except between private citizens who have to keep records of what is sold to whom. Waiting checks, no selling across state lines. Active shooters and gun traders used to get gun dealer's licenses so they could trade at the wholesale level. The BATF harassed those people so much that it's a thing of the past.
