...and in the case of Milberg Weiss, they've got it down to such a science that individually, a company is foolish to litigate an issue even if it is ludicrous. It's a lot easier to just settle for a million bucks, give Lerach his slice, and do what's right for your own shareholders. But in the process, it creates a friction in the capital markets that costs everyone.
