Hi u awl (gggggggggggg).

My new plan to make money is to watch the road with my pictures of Georgie W's "wanted dead or alive" posters in my lap, with the hopes one of them varmits walks by and I can score the reward(ggggggggggggg).

Ido.v, got out when the slide before drill results started, and ain't jumping back in till spring drilling season, or PGM's jump out of the hole. Looks like they hired most of Stillwaters retirees. I can tell you first hand they make good drink'in buddies :-))

Interesting PGM developments in Sru.v,...just found what may be a very high grade non-sulphide PGM reef above the main base metal deposit with grades of 130 g per tonne over a foot,http://www.starfieldres.com/PDF%20FILES/jencap10-01.pdf...only one drill hole but they are going back to old core to see if the reef is continuous,...up to this point they have only been assaying the sulphides. Deposit located near North west corner of Hudson Bay, Nunavut so infrastructure is not present but they have what looks like a 100+ million tonne deposit of 2% Ni+Cu with Co and PGM credits that give cdn$150 per tonne rock at todays prices. Total operating costs are about cdn$110 for a 4000 tonne per day throughput, but a bigger operation by someone with deep pockets could better that substantially, and if the high grade reef is continuous,...look out South Africa and Russia(gggggggggg). Old core has been forwarded to the lab,...results of high grade could come in a week or two.

Arp.v, not yet even a shadow of the Lundin company which holds a softspot in my heart,...that's where we met. Company has no selling pressure because most of their shares are tightly held by insiders. Fully diluted is getting close to 30 million so market cap is pretty high. They need tonnage, and they are going to have a battle finding it in the highly faulted and folded Quebec rock,...gonna take a lot of drilling. The rock up in Sudbury looks interesting, but tonnage is the problem again.
Serious group but need some horseshoes up the posterior.

Crj.t, lot of hope that Goldstrike continues but no proof. Always seems to be an overhang of stock for sale. Placer has little incentive to work quickly.

Suf.t, keeps suffering along, but I buy below $2.50 Only one I'm holding right now. Hamster calculations given Cdn$1 eps and market multiple of 5 for political risk gives Cdn$5.00 potential stock price. Could use 15 multiple if mine was in Canada,...bummer. Market will be skeptical until earnings show up on income statement,...everyone remembers M1 debacle and quick burnout of earnings there.

Most hamster's money is in oil and gas royalty trusts now,...sitting back collecting the 20-30% per year dividend payouts and averaging in waiting for the next up cycle,...may come sooner than we think given what the US markets are doing the past week,...someone must have declared the recession is over :-0
Got some pennies in Onc.t, "viruses eat cancer inc" and good ole Wex.v "blowfish guts kill pain inc". Not in Lor.t or Axo.t because if a virus can get into a cancer cell and use the cells own machinery to multiply itself and quickly kill the cell directly, but leave normal cells alone with few if any side effects, what will happen to the indirect treatments the other guys offer?

Gold,... looks like all the ducks and stars were lined up, war, bombing with blood and guts, US$ dropping, recession, panic in the markets, low gold lease rates and interest rates with no contango, shorts covering, gold bulls out in force, ANALysts pumping and what happened,...$20 rise, not even 10% with no follow through. Perhaps it's time for a goldbug to admit that the modern world won't allow a return to the past unless the entire system is blasted out of existence to the thunder of nuclear bombs. Maybe we weaned ourselves off the gold diaper(ggggggggggggggggggggggggg). Producers look overpriced for $280 dollar gold,...only hope seems to be in Claude's and Russ's juniors.

Speaking of oil and gas,...did you hear the one about the oilman who bit the bullet and appeared in front of St Peter only to be told that there were too many oilmen in heaven and he would have to go to hell or wait in purgatory. The oilman asked St. Peter if he could go into the oilman heaven for a minute to say hello to old friends, and St. Peter gave him 5 minutes. He stood at the door and yelled out "oil found in hell!!!!" and immediately the room emptied as all the oilpeople ran out of the room and past St. Peter on their way to hell. St. Peter was completely flabbergasted but couldn't believe it when he saw the oilman run past him in hot pursuit of his buddies. St. Peter called out,.."why are you leaving, we have plenty of room in oilman heaven now",...but the oilman replied, "What if the rumor is true?" (ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg)
