Senor Exley: I realize as a card-carrying conservative, it's tough for you to think outside the box, but do try to do so once in a while. We've got a new player in Washington, D.C., namely Security Czar Tom Ridge. He just might rattle the conservatives' cage in a few unexpected, unconventional ways, including gun control.

National security means we all may have to give a little, including Charlton Heston.
