I do not paint aircraft. What I do find interesting is that some criticism of this and other types of biometric technology are often criticized by reporters who have never taken a statistics course in their life, who think a square root is a funny looking block of ginger in an asian market. They wouldn't comprehend the difference between a false positive and a false negative and think a standard deviation is a guy with green hair and a nosering.

The article that you linked to discusses tests that were done in 1994. If you are basing investment decisions on any tech stock using 1994 data, I suggest you quite trying to invest and apply for a position as a skycap at an airport - I hear the requirements are quite low.
