asenna, what is your point about propaganda? What propaganda is necessary to make clear the purposes of Osama and his insane, murderous buddies or of his Taliban supporters? I haven't read this thread, but I assume it's full of stupid, unhelpful, nuke 'em all testosterone-laden rhetoric. Terrorist attacks and mass murder followed up by terrorist threats tend to do that to people. That doesn't make them Nazis, it makes them bigmouths blowing off steam and fury following terrible provocation. Arab-American citizens are not being rounded up and shot. Given what has happened, the number of nasty incidents has not been large, and has not been conducted by government goons. IMO
