Thanks Rick. Your point is well taken about Starband. I appreciate your suggestion about Directv; glad to hear your comments on their service.

Just about anything would be better than our reg. phone modem hook-up. We supposedly get 33kbps but I wonder. Moreover, the ISP is a small outfit that started with the early developments but hasn't kept up.
