Restrictions on speech are restrictions on speech... whether they originate from the left, or from the right makes no practical difference. (But, yes, I think that at either extreme of the political spectrum - think radical vs. reactionary, the persons who find themselves there probably have more in common with the people at the opposite extreme... than they do with the vast middle.) A totalitarian is a totalitarian, despite whatever their views are about economic policy.
