You don't seem to get my point, but I'll give a final try. I think it would be relevant (and interesting) that there is a completely different distribution of degree awards even when adjusted for underlying population trends. I think that says something good about our society.

Look at any journal from 20 years ago and compare it to one now. There is a trend vis-a-vis the diversity of the contributors and I think that trend says something positive. It says science is getting more inclusive.

The only people that claim America ever was colorblind are the people that have no color.
