Apparently there is some oil and gas in Afghanistan, which could be developed if there was stability.

In the end it will be like US Grant invading the South in The USA Civil War. There Lee kept winning battles by transferring troops from one front to the next. Grants solution was to advance on all fronts at the same time.

I hope for the same in Afghanistan. There the central common Muslim extremist movement have exploited rifts between the super powers. For the USA, Russia, Britain, and probably several other countries to crush the common Muslim Extremist cause in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Kasmir, and other separatist areas all at the same time.

Both Iran and Afghanistan citizens can improve their lives considerably after the "experiments" of the last 20 years or so.
