Children are much better at living for today... and they surely know that life's nicer if they don't give their parents reason to worry. But don't let yourself get used to it... it's too easy for these restrictions to become accepted, and near-permanent, even when the reason is no more.

morning clappy i was taken aback when i read what you had written about the security measures in new york city. i had no idea. do you see evidence of such security where you live as well? the only extra security measures i've experienced was at the airport when i was asked about my luggage upon checking in and then my hand luggage was more thoroughly searched. its much easier to slip back into normalcy when there are not constant reminders all around screaming NOT NORMAL. i feel for you. rose :\|
