Amen!

I'll tell you what most NRA members are: We're introverted, like me. Most of us would rather go hunting or shooting, or do community service than put on a loud-mouth demonstration. We are strong by our sheer numbers, and by the fact that we pick good articulate leaders.

I also think we stand up quietly for what we believe. Most of us have an NRA sticker on our car, and that's about it.

PS, I stopped sending my delegation emails. They responded by saying they don't communicate that way. I write it out in long hand, which I hate.

You bring up a good point. In my letters and e-mails to my Senators I always state I am a father, a den leader, active in my church, a little league baseball coach and a Patron member of the NRA. I further state that the NRA is not Wayne & Heston, but is people like me, you & your neighbors, your doctor, etc.
I want them to know that the NRA is not a nameless faceless machine.
