KKRS Kanakaris Wireless Announces 2001 OPCON Government Military Installations
And KANWIN Defense Monitoring Capabilities First Single Company Provider Of
Both Enclosures And Secure Cyber Network And Encoding Has Historically Served
Center for Disease Control, Departments of Defense, Energy, State and Treasury

COSTA MESA, Calif., Oct 11, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Kanakaris Wireless (OTC
BB:KKRS) today announced that this year, through its wholly owned Desience
division, it has completed design, manufacture and installation of OPCON
Command-and-Control secure mission room enclosures for the U.S. Air Force, the
U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy and several other Federal Government agencies.

As the first provider of command-and-control center enclosures to be awarded a
GSA contract (1989), the company's historical client list ranges from the Center
for Disease Control and Pentagon Telecommunications to Fortune 500 applications
for financial, transportation, insurance and communications companies.

Today, Kanakaris Wireless announced that it is the first and only company in
America to offer a proprietary secure mission room enclosure system and a secure
cyber communications network for utilization within these rooms. Kanakaris
Wireless has been a pioneer in the online delivery of video (1995) and
electronic transmission of text (1997). Kanakaris Wireless is offering real-time
secure video delivery as part of its expanded range of services which draws on
the experience of both its Wireless and Desience divisions.

"We are expanding the capabilities of what Kanakaris Wireless provides to meet
the new and growing needs of government and business to both actively and
passively monitor multiple areas of communication to enhance security," said CEO
Alex Kanakaris.

"Having built the environments in which secure mission rooms are housed, we are
now offering consultation, configuration and provision of secure cyber networks
for the installations," Kanakaris added.

"This will be a dramatically growing business sector for years to come, and
Kanakaris Wireless is proud to be providing needed equipment and services for
American defense and business," said Caroline Michaels, long-time consultant to
Kanakaris Wireless and its Desience division.

The way one Kanakaris installation is utilized illustrates the areas of
expansion which CEO Kanakaris refers to. In one OPCON enclosure system, a client
has dedicated real-time computers to support three secure mission rooms. Each
network includes all of the hardware necessary to acquire, process, and display
telemetry and TSPI data.

Front-end hardware can acquire 8 PCM telemetry data streams with a maximum data
rate of 20 megabits/sec. There are 128 DAC outputs which are connected to 16
strip chart recorders. Part of the control room system allows definition of 50
computed parameters and display of 20 parameter subsets at a given time,
definition of 75 ships, 25 oil platforms, and 25 generic marks, definition and
display of hazard patterns or other figures of interest, and multiple other
mission displays. There are multiple telemetry programs and an impact trajectory
predictor.
