i am actually a pessimist by nature. I owned UNPH(JDSU),BRCM,GMST,SUNW way before anyone new what they were. I sold them 300% to soon out of overvauation fears. For some reason I refused to sell Q. I am still LT bearish but ST bullish. Qcom looks good, and if bin laden does get caught we will have the rallies of all time. However that will be the rally to short. IMHO

Right oh, Frank. Once that scum ball gets hung and our boys come home, I'll be buying drinks for everyone.

All of us have been through hell this past two years. It is scary for me to even put 25 cents in the market for more than a day without waking up in the middle of the night in cold sweats. The thought that I saved our retiremnet helps a little...but the thought of the market taking away the remaining amount keeps me extremely paranoid.

Its hard enough to scalp some trades during the day.

Everyone should be viewing today as a very scary time. We are playing with post Sept. 11 prices for the indexes and many of our favorite stocks are doing the same. A lot of economic damage occured that day and here we are again...as if it didn't happen. The market is operating on hope right now.

Hope that earnings will return to 20%+ growth levels.
Hope that the FED and other government bods will finally get it right and the result will not be inflation.
Hope the massive telecom debt and consumer debt will not come back to bite us...again...
Hope that THIS time Chambers' optimism is right even though he has been wrong for 2 years.

Tread lightly.
When I start seeing YEAHAAAAA's on the board again, I start to worry. No disrespect implied Ruffman.

FWIW, I hope QCOM calms down and acts like a mature company with reasonable stock appreciation...and I mean APPRECIATION. But my paranoia is telling me...here we go again. They better have good things to say on the cc, don't follow through on that slow down rumor or someone doesn't mention Nextel again...

Where did that Piecheck or whoever go?
