atto (and thread),

Just wanted to pass along what seems to be a cheap realtick broker for those currently using realtick. Here is the url:

daytradz.com

I have no affiliation with this firm nor do I have an account with them. I just thought it was interesting because they seem to offer extremely competitive commissions compared to some other RT firms...

"The last time I checked, about 8 mo ago, cents/share wasn't really possible on Realtick because Townsend was charging a flat fee per ticket to the brokerage; it was about $3 per ticket regardless of share size."

"If that's the only reason, they could always charge .01 per share plus $3."

www.tradecourse.com recently established an affiliation with a RT based b/d (Nobletrading) who is doing precisely that. I think they are doing $2.25 flat plus 1.4 cents per share. It certainly helps the small size and/or scale in trader I would think.

BTW Tradecourse is my training site and we put the relationship in place with Noble for all the reasons discussed previously ie ability for newer traders to trade small size without getting crushed by commissions, scale in/out, etc.
