He said I'm obsessed. I'm not.

Ok. I'll take your word for that. Actually I think he said "You appear to be obsessed, which may very well be true even if you are not actually obsessed. Appearances are in the eye of the beholder. It is probably true that you appear obsessed to him, but that only tells us what he thinks, it doesn't have to have any similarity to how you actually are. And I've probably wasted too much verbiage on this idea already...

I was discussing his original "enough's enough" statement.

Depending on what exactly he means, I might agree. Since I can't tell you exactly what he means I will just tell you what I would agree with.

I think that quotas and lawsuits based on only on statistical disparities between outcomes are wrong and in some ways counterproductive if your goal is to minimize racism. I can't think of any new legislation that would be needed to combat racism, in fact I would roll back some of the law in this area. I think the main problems that are left with racism are problems of the sort that should not and perhaps can not be fixed by government action, so in terms of government action I would agree that "enough's enough", and add "perhaps too much".

That doesn't mean I deny racism's existence. So it is easily possible that Michael's "enough's enough" statement is also not denying racism's existence, but he will have to answer that for himself.
