Not just right now, however, vix is declining, the absolute value does not have much predictive power for short term move, the VI and VXN should be used at major turning points, IMHO. Right now, you have an equity P/C ratio under .5, indicating to me a short term pullback from the 1700, quite natural and healthy to maintain the longer term advance.

George i need some checking to do,but i am developing a suspicion you need measure conplacency relative to the VIX last high,which was a spike to 57plus---so it is now down 25ponts.From the previous high at 41 it dropped then 25 points over a period of months.Max p,s. need make percentage calculation on this,also.
