It's interesting that they decry our values and our influence, yet protest loudly when we sanction them.....that is, when we refuse to trade with them, and by that refusal refrain from exporting our "influences" to them. Maybe they would like to experience a few years without Western business contact.

I think most Moslems harbor some alter-ego affection for BinLaden he will become a martyr for the terror cause sure, logically they despise him they hate his coerced donations they hate the violent image given to Islam they hate the threat he represents to moderates they hate his potential for assassination and destabilization but they quietly find satisfaction that Al Qaeda scored (just the opinion of one guy) such a tremendous enormous horrific shot on America one for the ages and history books nothing about the Arab and Moslem world is logical or rational anyone who thinks otherwise is naive many of those countries would take a step down in their living standards in exchange for a hit to America little do they admit or realize... Arab and Moslem FEUDAL system of govt contributes to new terrorists being born every day is Turkey the only democracy in the entire Moslem world? even they suffer military coups Arab wealth rarely filters down to the commoners 200 Saudi Princes own half that nation's wealth and they have squandered much of it marble cities in the desert, wow Saudi Arabia leads the world in debt per capita Iraqi wealth was commandeered by Saddam and his henchmen look at the nationality of the terrorists they are largely Saudi, Lebanese, and Egyptian examine the form of govt in their native lands they want to identify a villain for their countries' poverty they point to America, who ironically helps them (all the while helping Israel even more) / Jim
