I have seen more negativity many, many times.

You don't see the death of equities on the cover of Businessweek. Most people realize now that in the long run equity investing makes money. Big difference.

Valuations are still closer to all time highs than all time lows.

What will generate lower lows is if the economy does not recover in the first half next year.

I won't mind betting CSCO setting new low within a year without the help of terrorists.

CSCO's business in the foreseeable future does not warrant its' 100+ billion market cap. Yesterday should prove to be another short term top on the way to NAZ 1000, which is my long term target, although that target is still overvalued in the eyes of some pros.
