It's obvious that the only honest broker with respect to the conflict has been the US. But please note that I cast a pox on both NYC and the prince as both could have been a bit more diplomatic. The gift of course was being made in good faith so NYC should not have insulted the prince. On the other hand, the prince appears unaware of recent efforts, including the leakage of the news about Bush desiring the establishment of a Palestinian state.
