Imagine Christian terrorists bomb Mecca and the Al-aqsa mosque to kingdom come, killing thousands of innocent civilians in the process, and then a majority of Americans point to Islamic fundamentalist terrorism as the root cause, a legitimate complaint leading to this, and lecturing the victims of this crime against humanity that they must understand and not have such great insensitivity and prejudice towards the West in the Arab world.

One offensive double standard among many.

How about cheering the towers' collapse, supporting bin Laden's claims that more such attacks are coming, and then claiming that America is bad because 100 civilians (who were probably right next to a military installation) were killed in a bombing raid. It would take 50 more bombing raids just like it to kill as many people as died a month ago in the inferno.
