JNPR was below $9.5 on Oct. 3, 10 AM ........... went to $16 by Oct. 8, 10 AM

I'm well aware, Haim.

Buzz through the rest of technology land to see the "lightening quick" moves from the September 21 lows. Brocade, BEA Systems, JDS Uniphase, Siebel, Cisco, Checkpoint, Nvidia, etc... . Of course, we shouldn't just pick on technology off those recent lows. Plenty of bounces from NYSE plums like GE, Harley, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, etc... as well. Not as large in terms of a percentage moves, but then again they didn't drop 70 - 95%+ from bubble heights and some - like Harley - are not in a downward fundamental earnings spiral such as the technology sector has been going through.

Of course, there is the latest bubble in the post attack hot sector of security and "Terrorist Bug Sprays R Us" which has had some even more impressive moves from individual stocks without any fundamental support whatsoever:

Anyway, I'm way OT at this point and forgot how we got headed down this path of post attack bounce discussion. I'm hoping that there is not another attack in the next few days such as the FBI has warned is a possibility. Of course, we have been aware of the possibility of another attack since September 11th, so I wouldn't consider it new news.
