Pakistan is THE example of a country that was involved in terrorism and has chosen to condemn it and support freedom.

After Pakistan took this stand, the Kashmiri parliament was bombed and dozens of people killed.

At the Pakistan PM's press conference shown around midnight or a little later a few nights ago (I think it was Sunday night), this noble supporter of freedom smirked his way through more than a half hour of statements which boiled down to the principle that Pakistan was doing this solely for its self interest and for no other reason. I didn't hear any stirring rhetoric about suppressing terrorism that up until now Pakistan has supported and nurtured.

So I have a little difficulty understanding where you are coming from in that part of your post. The rest of your post I agree with.
