Russ, I admire Bob Johnson too. I hope he changes his mind and decides to post here, but i don't think he will. It is good to have a forum that someone can't just decide they'll try to ruin, or even just disrespect what most other people want to talk about. The word 'censorship' doesn't even really apply to private forums like this one. If this was a public board that was OWNED by the government, then we should have the right not to be 'censored' to ensure that the government doesn't hold any biases over us by the obvious strength that it has. In a privately owned enterprise, it is assumed that a counter view would have the same resources to promote itself in another private enterprise. Of course nothing is perfect, as some people have much more resources than others. In a private forum we can vote with our feet if we don't like the subject matter. But a government backed enterprise might well be the only game in town.

Golly Russ, your posts don't seem to come from one that has given his brain to another, your son. Might your son let you use them when you post on Si :o) and just so when he does not need them for study or a test :o) Or might you have received the brain of your father the same way your son received yours :o) Yes, it does happen this way as i have what seems to be a brain of 1/2 Mom and 1/2 Dad with strong features of them both :o) The posts today are of the nature that any of mine might not be of the yelling fire in a crowded room, but like one farting in a crowded room. For sure my posts here will identify hopefully an on topic item in the first line so that those wishing not for my stuff will know up front if its a look or neXt, and if a look see then my stuff will always be at the bottom/end after on topic stuff so that they can then do that neXt. Great thread and getting better and can get much better since the addition of Bob Johnson "in full" is possible. doug
