I am unaware of any recently conquered community in California. Especially since you like going to prison, working in the car wash (like Jim Croce did), or bussing tables and making beds. Oh yes, and because you are tempermentally suited to harvesting watermellons in 100+ deg heat of the Coachella Valley. I'm sure that absent racism all of the people who are in those situations would have so much money they would have to hire people to help them count it. People in prison are mostly there because they committed a crime. A few of them might be there because they where falsely convicted but not too many. People who buss tables or make bed or harvest watermelons usually don't have the job skills to get better jobs. People who do have the education and skills do get better jobs whatever there race. There are millions of non white people in the US with great jobs. Your whole argument in this post is that there are minorities in a tough situation, therefore they must be discriminated against, therefore we need a strong expansion of government efforts to make sure that no one suffers this fate. I find that to be nonsense but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Especially when you've been assimilated by those great English-speaking people with that great culture. You feel bad because you know they don't like your language or the fact that you just don't choose to learn their language. Here you provide an example of exactly what I am talking about. Getting paid a lot less because you lack job skills. In a predominately English speaking country speaking English is a job skill. Tim
