<<If you were lucky enough to get a job at Goldman Sachs, you'd be the one making cold calls and Abbey Joseph Cohen would be your bosses bosses bosses bosses bosses boss.>>

... that is, if I needed a job, cheryl ... <g>

... and yes, I was lucky .......... lucky to get out of SUNW 20 months ago ... very fortunate indeed ...

... buy-and-hold really is a strategy foisted on small investors by Wall Street ... I see evidence of it all the time ... that is the main reason that CNBC is so dangerous to the small investor ... did you ever notice what companies provide the vast majority of CNBC's revenues through advertising? ... right, the same Wall Street brokerage firms who also provide almost all the guests, analysts and brokers who appear there ... they getcha to buy em, but they almost never tell ya when to sell em ... hold em, they say, hold em long term ...

... I wonder if Wall Street ever told investors when to sell Polaroid, or Xerox, or the U.S. company that went under because of the chemical spill in India that killed thousands, or the company whose breast implants leaked into millions of women ... or the asbestos manufacturer (Mansville?) ... when did they tell those investors to sell em? ...

... as far as "The Economist" article is concerned, I did not write it, but posted it as a news from a very influential and highly respected publication ...

... be angry with me if you want cheryl, it will not help you and it will certainly not hurt me ...
