Albert, re: One can argue that terrorists might pay more attention to details now which would make them even harder to detect. One could argue that if we lose free access to information, then we may have bigger problems than foreign terrorists. What are we ultimately fighting for? Of course it's a matter of balance. And the over-reaction leads to a balance in favor of giving up freedoms for imagined security. I'm not sure that a little more information will make us less secure. I'm pretty sure that once you give up some hard earned freedoms, it's difficult to get them back. John
