SANTA ROSA, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- Fund holders straying into international waters in September are slowly returning to U.S. stocks, mutual fund flow analyst Trim Tabs said Thursday.

Even as investors continued to siphon off assets from equity funds in the latest week, the October pace is essentially flat for mutual funds investing domestically but investments abroad are on track to lose $8.3 billion in assets, if the current pace continues, said director of research Carl Wittnebert.
