matt my thoughts are opposite yours

i think the guy has a right to give his money to whomever he pleases. if i were a member of a victim's family, i would not be pleased.

alwaleed has stated publicly that he condemns all forms of terrorism. he believes that it is most certainly not the answer to stated problems.

so then, if he has an opinion regarding US policy in the Middle East... shouldn't he be entitled to express it?

what i hear the prince saying is that altho the attack was not in any way justifiable, there needs to be more focus on WHY it occurred.... so as to lessen the liklihood of it happening again.

just becuz someone thinks the US has been wrong in certain aspects of its foreign policy... does not imply that they are pro-terrorism

ultimately i think there are not 2, but 3 sides to this issue...

1--- you back president bush and his administration unequivocally, 2--- you're pro terrorism, or 3--- none of the above
