Also being from Iran by national origin myself (left the country when I was 16 about 23 years ago just before Khomeini groupies took over the country) I think I may also know a bit about Islam (although in no way I claim to be an expert - or for that matter even an amature). Anyway, but I certainly appreicate if you would please educate me and others on the religion. I have created a thread (currently titled Islam and the Innocence - however I have asked SI to change the name to Understanding Islam - they have not done so yet. Subject 51780 Anyway in particular I appreciate it if I can be educated on the following members.aol.com and how could these types of teachings have contributed to the advancement of civilization.
