Well if that is the result you would want to be long rather than short or in cash? Da_cheif has mentioned inflation and a $800 gold price so maybe that is his scenario. Inflationary growth. Though I guess long gold could be good too and less risky. Though personally I don't expect gold to go anywhere as long as the BOE is a seller.
