TP, I have many Arab-American friends over here who are better Americans than most people who have been over here for many generations. In most cases their story is very similar to the Iranian person that you refer to. They came to the United States because of the oppressive regimes in various Arab countries. The amount of prejudice facing them right now is staggering. Many are afraid to send their kids to school. All have stories of horrid remarks directed at them, of people challenging them to fights. Myths like the Budweiser story that is getting passed around only make things worse for them. This is one of the many unfortunate downsides to war. I'm starting to get an appreciation for what the Japanese-Americans went through a half a century ago.
