Wow! Clinton is an idiot. You have to eliminate the terrorists before you can eliminate poverty. He is such a moron. And Noonan nailed him good on it. I have just recently discovered her, and am truly impressed. She is a great American.

... How about just reducing or eliminating our dependency on middle-eastern oil... then we can get out of the distasteful business of supporting dictators against democratic aspirations simply because they have the oil we need?

That wouldn't be a liberal program, it wouldn't be a conservative program, it would simply be a rational, patriotic, self-protective act.
