Just as I suspected -- that sentiment number could be used to justify a pop or a selloff or anything at all, dammit. My predictive powers are awe inspiring.

It occurs to me that from a psychological standpoint, we might get extra selling today due to the combination of A) the big run up and B) the FBI warning issued yesterday. I would point out that we've had similar warnings already, and sadly will have more in the future, but it still wouldn't make me feel too comfortable holding, "just in case."

Either that or the selloff is American children withdrawing money from the market to send to the Afghan children's fund.
