Well, at the risk of annoying you all further: We all have to survey a situation and decide where the highest risk is, and whether we do want to act as if those risks did not exist or there's no point in avoiding them, or whether we ought to alter our lives in significant ways to minimize risk. There is a bellcurve to risk. Why not minimize it? But that requires admitting that this is indeed a dangerous beginning to a long-term dangerous situation.
