Stock options are more insidious than obscenely high straight salaries. Which leads me to ask you: What is your reaction to my allegation that the economic malaise we're experiencing today is partly because CEOs and top corporate managers grew the share price instead of growing the company?

This practice, in turn, allowed the corporate fat cats to reap millions off of stock options and bonuses tied to the price of the stock through the use of smoke, mirrors and one-time cash infusions, i.e., raiding worker pension plans.
