Well, day's not over yet ... major gain comes for Geomaque on Monday or Tuesday maybe, after people digest the news ... it's the short-termers mostly who watch this stuff intraday, not much attention span, and bookoo paper has traded from nine to ten cents, and for sure some will take profit ... probably we need volume to break out ..... interesting though that Octagon hasn't sold a share since 11h31 eastern, just before the news -g-

Just saw your new thread ... why the seven loonie limit? - Subject 51861
... maybe you've answered that ... i'll be over there asap

The bigcap/smallcap thing you mention above, i think that's true - often when the gold majors are beginning to move the juniors get some quick sales into weak bids for a short time, it's people shifting focus ... but they shift it back further up the cycle ..... or they always used to, anyway, aaargh ... lol

Which to pick? Which to pick? I guess I'll stick with PLY-V again this week. 43478 @ .23. I also like BRK-T and NXS-T. NXS had news out a half hour before the close. maybe someone will pick those and I'll be able to cheer for them as well.
Edit: I see that BRK is already picked, good stuff.

All the best,
Margie

NSX-T for me please. Todays news should do it.

NEXUS GROUP INTERNATIONAL INC ("NXS-T;NXGIF-0") MAXIMUS INC ("MMS-BDNX3") - MAXIMUS Uses AcSys Biometrics' Face Recognition Technology for - FlySecure(TM)
Nexus Group International Inc.'s AcSys Biometrics Corp. has been chosen as the facial recognition technology to be utilized by Reston, Virginia-based MAXIMUS, Inc.'s new FlySecure(TM) technology.

AcSys Biometrics is the most technologically advanced provider of facial recognition technology and will be used as a layered facial recognition solution along with Identix, a leading provider of fingerprint identification, within MAXIMUS' FlySecure(TM) technology.

In order to expedite the check-in process, airline passengers would need the FlySecure(TM) smart card and to obtain this card, passengers would require a background check. With FlySecure(TM), the identity of the passenger would be confirmed by the information contained on the card and verified by biometric readers at various stations in the airport. This system would allow prescreened passengers to proceed through an express check-in process at airports without any loss of security. At a time when passengers and airlines are becoming increasingly strained by long waits at airports, FlySecure(TM) can help security teams better focus their resources while still assuring all passengers a high level of security and increased convenience. MAXIMUS is currently marketing the concept to the federal government who would administer the program and to airlines and airports around the country.

FlySecure(TM) accomplishes three key objectives. First, this solution ensures the passenger is who they say they are prior to boarding an aircraft, by electronically comparing the fingerprint and facial image to the stored templates. Second, FlySecure(TM) provides convenience, confidence and expedited processing for air passengers. And finally, utilizing this solution protects the privacy of the demographic and fingerprint of the cardholder.

"AcSys Biometrics is very pleased that MAXIMUS will be using the most dynamic face recognition technology available to-day for their latest technological advancement developed to improve aviation safety and security - FlySecure(TM). No other face recognition technology is based upon the HNeT model, which makes AcSys Biometrics the only face recognition technology capable of learning over time. In this way it is able to account for aging or other cosmetic differences that naturally occur," said Jerry Janik, president and CEO, AcSys Biometrics Corp.

MAXIMUS is one of America's largest government services companies devoted to providing state and local governments with program management, information technology, and consulting services. The company has more than 4,700 employees located in more than 170 offices across the United States.

Identix Incorporated, www.Identix.com, is a leader in designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing products for the capture and/or comparison of fingerprints for security, anti-fraud, law enforcement, physical access and other applications.

AcSys Biometrics is a joint venture between NEXUS Group International Inc. and AND Corporation, the inventor and developer of HNeT. AcSys is the leading-edge provider of facial recognition through its exclusive worldwide license for face and speech recognition based on its patented proprietary core software - HNeT - with applications for the financial, manufacturing, security and medical sectors.

NEXUS is a Burlington, Ontario-based, organization focused on leading-edge technologies. Its goal is to position itself as the leader in biometric technology and other advanced fields. NEXUS trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange as NXS.
