No God, no ultimate standard. No ultimate standard, no ultimate meaning for "good and evil".

I am not interested in "ultimate" meaning. I am (as you know) speaking about human meaning in the natural world where we are bound to live and end our days.

People interpret their happiness or unhappiness by processing sensory impressions with their brains and constructing opinions around these through memory, knowledge, and self interest. Killing 6000 people was a great good for some; it was an horrific evil for others.

We have no evidence for "absolute" anything. Zero--Zilch. And even if somebody thought they did--well, it would be her thought, not yours.

The commandments of your bible are subjective. Do not commit adultery (adultery being a qualitative concept which varies under law). Do not kill (unless it is a "good" killing such as self defense or trying to win a race)--SUBJECTIVE, QUALITATIVE.

"Only proximate feelings and personal preferences".

Please don't tell me that your preferences are "IMPERSONAL?!"--LOL!
