There is also a two week cycle that even the finance academics agree exists. That was one of the few things that showed up when I looked at the spectrum of the SPX, NDX etc. So that tells me that the other cycles are more in the form of stochastic cycles like business cycles that are fairly irregular in period but have a characteristic frequency.
