The first thing they need to do is to actually figure out how to ship a working system and have a customer service group which works.

Last 2 years I have bought $35k of gateway computers. all of them messed up, all of them took more than 5 months to get running. I bought them all about the same time and spent the NEXT YEAR trying to ship parts back and forth and update software.

The other day they had a real low price on a good laptop and I needed to replace one of the systems I had. Not only did they take my money and lose my order, but then they claimed that I had never even entered it on the web page. I talked to a phone person and they hung up on me when I asked if they could go find it. Spent half a day trying to find out if the email confirmation I had was real or fake. Turns out it was fake. Charge to my credit card was not fake.

I cancelled everything and bought Dell. Gateway is a disgrace to teh industry.

And I know Ted on a first name basis......his management clones keep trapping out my email directly to him and try to cover up just how bad his company really is. I guess only cows are left to run the company.
