If someone has been in the wrong, then punishing him or making him compensate his victim probably is not a 2nd wrong. But here you are not talking about anyone who has been in the wrong. I have never owned slaves or even refused employment or service to someone because of their race or sex and there are millions of other white males who are like me in that regard. So talking about "people who have been in the wrong" doesn't seem to be that relevant. Tim
