What today's action shows me (especially the noon swoon) is that some traders will be sorely tempted to float a little old rumor.....look at the reaction you can get. The nervousness is palpable. Hope things calm down at some point soon.

"Steve looks like you need Zeev back you went short yesterday when the market was going up and you went flat from short when the market was going down..<gg> " Thursday's shorts weren't too bad, some even got covered at a profit. Wednesday's TXN short was closed at a loss of around two dollars though. As for needing Zeev back, am reading the other thread. I had decided not to discuss things with him some time before his recent tantrum. Doesn't mean I don't respect his market-savvy though. Anyway, pretty much everything I covered yesterday closed above the covering price so not sure what your point is?
